Prisma is one of the most talked about apps today. Perhaps if it was not for the craze behind the Pokemon Go, Prisma could easily have been the most popular app today. The app basically redraws the pictures that you push through it to give it a very art like feel. It basically transforms your pictures. But unlike just applying a filter, there is a lot of post processing that goes here, and Prisma has been vocal about how they redraw every single image to make it unique. Prisma, to start of with, was available only on iOS.
However, it was late last night when Prisma announced that the Beta channels for Android users were open and they could try out the application if they wished to. Prisma on Android works exactly in the same way as it does on iOS, so if you have used it, then using the app should be really familiar. However, if you have an Android phone and have not given it a try, then here is how you can get the Beta version of the application.
Head over to the official Prisma website here.
When you are on the site, roll all the way at the bottom and you will see the option to ‘Sign up for news’. Here, you will need to enter in your name and E-Mail ID, where Prisma will send in a confirmation of your sign up.
You will receive an E-mail with the link to the Beta Channel for Prisma. Simply go there on the link and sign up for the Beta Program and you will be able to download the application on your Android Phone.
However, it does look like there is a snag on the end of Prisma for sending this mail in and it takes forever and in some cases just does not come. In this case, the only option for you is to download the APK directly. There are a ton of APKs that are floating on the internet, though you do not know for sure if they are clean or malware free. We would not advice you to do it, but if you cannot resist, you can find them here. Just download the APK and install it on your phone like you would, when it comes to any other application and it should work without a problem.
